A Holly Jolly Christmas Rosemont Concert reviews
No Layla? What was he thinking?
Daltrey gave an incredible performance as an opening act, starting with I can see for miles and transitioning into a Quadraphenia track before delving into most of the Who's Next album. He also showcased a few other songs, but there was no encore, which would have been fantastic had he included a tune from Tommy or another Quad song.
The greatest blues guitarists ever, A Holly Jolly Christmas played for approximately 90 minutes. However, the real letdown came with a short one-song encore, lacking Layla or sunshine of your love. It's hard to feel completely satisfied at an A Holly Jolly Christmas show without Layla.
The initial billing indicated A Holly Jolly Christmas "with" Roger Daltrey, but they did not share the stage, which could have been amazing.
The traffic leaving the arena was a nightmare, with it taking 40 minutes to exit the parking lot, mostly due to the assistance of the police.
